This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Our library is a place of fun, excitement, and exploration for students Pre-K to fifth grade. We are a Title 1 school with a high poverty rate located in a large district with very little funding. The furniture currently in our library is old, bulky, and just plain ugly. I am wanting to create new spaces in the library to accommodate the wide range of grade levels I teach.
New library furniture will create a happy and inviting learning environment that all students can enjoy and be proud of.
Please donate to our project so that every child can have a library they can love.
My Project
Students will be using the mobile computer stations to conduct research in the library, work on group projects, and conduct library business. They will also use these workstations to create group learning centers or to work alone or with a partner. The mobile computer stations will decrease the amount of distractions students experience while sitting at a large table while increasing student learning and productivity in the library. Our students desperately need new 21st Century furniture in the library.
These stations would greatly increase student learning and productivity in the library.
Please help move our library into the 21st Century.
