This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I am blessed to teach an amazing group of moderate/severe, special education, high school students. Our school is a Title One school serving a diverse population. The students I work with are determined and strive to persevere through social, emotional, and academic challenges.

Human activities, a changing climate, and natural disasters are rapidly altering the face of our planet.

With our new laptop,, students will get an interactive before-and-after view of these changes on Earth. Some of these locations have suffered a disaster, such as a fire or a tsunami, or illustrate the effects of human activities, such as dam building or urban growth. We will have the opportunity to examine climate change and learn from our mistakes. Thank you for supporting students with unique needs. I am grateful!
