Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This is a continuation of another project. Our alternative school has students at all different reading levels, but we do not have a library to meet each student where they are at. I seek to collect enough books to help build a library for my students. For this portion of the continued library building project, I am asking for books that students have requested. I have some who are big Rick Riordan fans, others who want more graphic novels, and those who want novels.

Reading is vital for any child’s future.

Simply by reading literature kids are able to build and maintain necessary ELA skills alongside the curriculum. Being able to provide our students with literature from all backgrounds will help us to prepare our students for the road ahead.
