My Project

Representation matters in every aspect of education, including the everyday supplies we use in our classroom and fieldwork. My students spend time outdoors in our Aquaculture program, and I want to ensure that all of them feel seen, valued, and properly equipped. By providing skin-tone bandages, Hustle Clean body and face wipes, and Black Girl Sunscreen, I can create an inclusive learning environment where every student has access to items that reflect and support their needs.

With a high percentage of Black students in my program, these resources will help foster a sense of belonging and equity in our everyday activities.

Representation is not just about history; it’s about making sure every student feels included in the present. These items will not only provide practical support during fieldwork but will also reinforce the message that every student deserves supplies that meet their needs and celebrate who they are.

My students are hardworking, dedicated learners who deserve to be supported in every way possible. This project ensures they have access to the same level of care and consideration as their peers, helping them feel seen in a learning environment that values and respects them. With your help, we can take an important step toward equity and inclusivity in our program.
