Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school's Garden Club is growing something special – not just plants, but young environmental stewards. Our 2nd through 5th grade students have successfully nurtured hundreds of seedlings, and with your help, these tiny plants can become a valuable learning opportunity for our Title I school.

Our students have shown incredible dedication in caring for these seedlings, learning about plant science, sustainability, and responsibility along the way.

Now we're at a crucial stage: these young plants need new homes in the form of individual pots and quality potting soil to continue thriving. Once transplanted, our students will prepare them for taking home to build their own garden or selling them to the community. All funds raised will go right back into the garden club to buy more soil, pots, seeds, and end of the year celebration ceremony for our students.

Here's what your donation will provide:

- Potting soil to nourish our plants' growth

- Individual pots for each seedling to be transplanted to grown larger

- A real-world lesson in business and agriculture for our 500 students

- The opportunity for our students to learn valuable life skills

Your donation will not only help our plants grow but will also cultivate valuable skills in our young gardeners – from understanding plant biology to learning basic business principles.

Would you consider donating to help our Garden Club flourish?

Together, we can help our students' efforts bear fruit. Thank you for helping our students grow their dreams!
