Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I strive to incorporate art into as many academic concepts as I can throughout the school year. Puppets, dioramas, and collaborative posters are some examples. The items in this project, such as metallic markers, glitter glue, and skin-tone colored pencils, and glue guns will add another creative way to show mastery this school year.

I really believe that the more creative and hands-on a lesson is, the better students learn.

This project will allow us to show our learning on the wall of windows in our building and work with light and shadow to create more projects in the classroom. Allowing students to demonstrate their mastery in different academic areas with art projects gives students a fun way to express themselves and their learning.
