Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a coach at a middle school in South Texas, I am deeply committed to the well-being of our students, especially given the extreme heat conditions we face year-round. The heat index in our region is often dangerously high, which poses significant risks during outdoor activities.

To address this challenge, we have implemented a comprehensive hydration system designed to keep our students safe and healthy.

Our hydration system features a robust setup capable of holding 50 gallons of water, ensuring that our athletes have access to ample hydration during all outdoor practices and events. However, the water pump essential to this system has recently malfunctioned, jeopardizing our ability to provide continuous hydration.

We are reaching out for your support to repair and restore this critical component of our hydration system. Your generous contributions will directly impact the safety and health of our students, both current and future. By investing in this project, you help us ensure that every student can stay hydrated and perform at their best, even under the harshest conditions.
