Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students, English language learners, are a bright group of diverse learners. Despite coming from homes where their parents work multiple jobs and living in a high poverty low-income area, my students come to school every day eager to learn and be successful. My students are smart, kind, and helpful individuals that always go the extra mile to help the people around them. The students in our classroom take great pride in not only their work, but their classroom environment.

My Project

These items will help me provide my students with a better education while teaching remotely and while my students learn remotely! An iPad and pencil will help me create more engaging lessons by using Google Drawing, interactive whiteboards, as well as other programs. I will be able to model how to solve math problems by using pictures and algorithms. I will also be able to share writing techniques and reading strategies. The iPad will also be used as a document camera to project books, writing, and other artifacts to create fun lessons. AirPods will help ensure the lessons are delivered clearly and with minimal noise distraction.
