Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am building a community of creative, empathetic, enthusiastic young learners! I want my students to feel safe in taking risks, both academically and socially.

I want to foster a lifelong passion for learning and imagination!

These are our youngest learners, coming from very diverse backgrounds, and I want to set the foundation of loving school, learning and creativity. Many of my students are English-language learners and having access to this imaginative learning will foster their language development and confidence as they grow throughout the year.

My Project

I am currently teaching from home, a combination of grades, and multiple curriculum. I purchased a printer, copy paper and ink with my own money, but those materials are running desperately low. My school is unable to fund paper and ink for me to use on my personal printer at home.

I'm hoping to get printer ink and paper so that I can consistently print out lesson plans and other curriculum materials, to stay organized and effective for my students.

I'm using a myriad of materials and resources online, and I've learned it is vital to have a paper copy of the lessons in my hands while teaching.
