My Students

My 6th grade Social Studies students all have special needs. Throughout my 5 classes and 60 students are a variety of disabilities and abilities.

As I work to complete my Master's degree in Instructional Technology, I am looking to implement more technology usage into my classroom; this will help students who struggle with writing and spelling.

I want to be able to teach my students to type and to create presentations. Having access to technology resources in my classroom will benefit my students who are struggling to learn remotely.

My Project

These materials will help students learn from home. My students all have special needs and it is difficult enough to meet their needs while in the building, but it is even more difficult to do so when we are apart. These devices and materials are going to provide my 60 students with the most effective and informative learning possible. Just because I may not be with them each day, does not mean that I cannot do my best to meet each and every one of their needs. Any contribution would be greatly appreciated.
