My Students

I am an elementary school physical education teacher, teaching in a special needs school in New York City. My students are in Kindergarten through 5th grade and cope with autism, moderate-to-severe, or multiple disabilities. Everyday my students walk into my gym with an "I can" attitude, even though we know it is not always easy to do so.

My bright, energetic, and passionate students do not always receive the same opportunities as their general education counterparts, but we are working to change that.

I love my students and I want to give them the tools they need and the opportunities they deserve to continue to grow and learn how to live a healthy active lifestyle. Please consider donating to our projects. I know that my incredible students, my paraprofessionals, and I will be eternally grateful to you. Thank you so much.

My Project

Using a laptop to conduct remote learning has limited the amount of students that I can see on my screen at one time. We are requesting this monitor so that we can fit all of our students on one screen when teaching remotely.

This will allow our students to have a much more effective and inclusive learning experience, and give me the ability to see all of my students at the same time.

Many of our students have struggled during remote learning due to lack of resources, please help me with this project so that I can eliminate this issue, and better serve my students.
