Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Online teaching is the best way to ensure students continue to receive the best possible education they can. At our blue ribbon school we are individually unique but together complete. Teaching during this time is very challenging to do on a laptop. It is difficult to write using the mouse pad. Incorporating math lessons on a Microsoft digital whiteboard is strenuous to use with the mouse pad on the laptop. My handwriting, visuals, and math equations look sloppy and are difficult to read and understand. Erasing and rewriting takes away teaching time from my students.

Solutions for remote teaching and e-learning are in high demand.

Because of the Coronavirus, schools and teachers are now challenged to develop ideas on how to teach digitally from home. Readily available software tools, like OneNote, can be a great help to create teaching materials, distribute worksheets to students and exchange documents with fellow teachers online. And in combination with a graphics tablet like the Wacom One, teachers can experience the full benefits of the handwriting function within OneNote in online lessons.

Students in an ICT class benefit from visuals and modeling all activities that the Wacom One Tablets provides.

My Project

I will be able to make teaching from home more fun and exciting for my students. Trying to use the mousepad to write and draw on the laptop is very challenging, very sloppy and difficult to understand especially for math problems.

I will be able to use the Wacom Drawing Tablet and pen as a virtual blackboard which will be easier to write on than the mouse pad found on my laptop.

I will be able to draw, make diagrams, label, highlight information for my students to see. The possibilities are endless. Thank you very much.
