My Students

The children of Lincoln Street are all very special, each in their own individual ways. Many of our students are ELL and for some of them, this will be their first experience with school. They are from an inner-city neighborhood, with many things going on in their little lives. They have many outside events that distract them throughout the day. They are a very diverse group of children with many different needs.

Most of our students are not prepared for school with the necessary supplies that are needed to be successful, especially during remote learning.

My Project

This project will give EVERY student in our school individual whiteboards, Expo markers, whiteboard erasers, crayons, scissors, pencils, glue sticks, and a drawstring bag to contain all the supplies. These basic school supplies are essential in the engagement and enhancement of our students' remote learning experience.

These supplies will ensure that the students of Lincoln Street School will be able to start the year off strong.

These kits are necessary to set our students up for success. Remote learning has so many challenges. This project will take away the challenge of needing supplies.
