Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are energetic, creative and love to dance ! They enjoy multi sensory learning opportunities where they can use all of their senses to interact with the material and deepen their understanding of the world and cultures around them. You can see them moving along our sensory path in the hallway or using their feet to show you how to segment compound words. They are very bright and I come to work knowing that they will challenge me every day to use the latest techniques in the mind, brain, and education fields to help them access the curriculum.

My Project

My students who are struggling to get internet access during the coronavirus pandemic will have an opportunity to feel successful at home. They will have the capability to go on google classroom and access websites such as GetEpic! IXL, and Pearson Math so that they will not fall any further behind.

I will ship the IPADs directly to my students homes already programmed with google classroom, GetEpic!

Starfall, and other interactive reading math and reading assignments. My student would have access to SPIRE an intensive remedial reading program that would help them to decode words. These materials would help them to maintain the gains that they have persevered to reach all school year.
