My Students

On Friday, March 13th, 2020 I said to my students have a great weekend and see you on Monday! Just a few days later that all changed. I automatically thought to myself how is this all going to happen. My students come from low-income housing and might not have the proper materials for remote learning.

I am making sure my students are still achieving academic success through remote learning but technology is not enough for them.

Now I am able to record myself teaching so that students can still hear and see me. I also go live with my students reviewing material and checking in to see how they are doing

My students are enrolled in a title 1 school which means that most of them come from low-income housing. They are always eager to learn.

My students still need the practice of writing and using manipulatives to help the succeed!The materials contain hands-on learning materials that make learning exciting! These materials will be mailed directly to the students homes.

My Project

I never imagined that I would find myself remotely teaching from home, and that my students would be learning new material through video conferencing calls and recorded home videos. We are charging forward and looking at it as a learning opportunity for all!

The notebooks, pencils, sharpeners and TpT gift card included in this project would serve as a tool that I can use during Zoom meetings to go over material easily, and to display have students do the work during recorded lessons.

I will also be able to use it with future classes in the classroom so we can all access our new normal.
