My Students

The students at my school are highly motivated to meet new challenges, especially when it comes to learning new technologies. We are the only campus in our district to move to a 1:1 program where every student has a school provided Chromebook or a laptop from home. Most classes use Google Classroom to streamline assignment, projects, and tests as well as to reduce the amount of paper we use every day. In addition to being academically motivated, our campus has one of the most spirited student bodies I've ever come across. Just come by one of our amazing rallies to see it in person!

My Project

Remote learning has proven to be a major challenge to all of us but especially in classes like Ceramics where everything requires a lot of special materials to send home.

We are lucky enough to be able to send materials home but we need a lot more to allocate portions to each student.

Glaze is particularly challenging in its packaging, distribution, and expense. Kits will be made of multiple colors and packed in 2 ounce portions so that students have some options as well as a convenient and safe method of transportation home.
