This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Kindergarten is such a special place. We sing songs, we build friendships, gain independence, and learn more than most people think! We want to love the space we are in!

I want to make our classroom feel like a second home to my students!

While they are learning, doing independent reading, and participating in small group math and writing lessons, my goal is to make our classroom as functional, effective, and comfortable as possible!

A new library area with comfy bean bags and a new rug, and small group areas with bouncy flexible seating chairs and whiteboards to teach mini-lessons will make our classroom a special place to spend these important days.
