My Project

I pride myself in having an inviting classroom. As a second year teacher, I need more resources to make my classroom feel comfortable and calming like home. New bulletin board décor such as new paper and borders will help my students get excited about the new school year when they walk through the door.

I want my classroom to feel like a home away from home so students will be relaxed not stressed to learn new skills and make new friends.

By adding a lamp shade to an old lamp, new window curtains, and string lights in the front of the classroom, I can create soft lighting to help students relax who feel overwhelmed. I want to create an environment that my students can be proud of and know that their teacher knows their worth.
