This project would allow students to have the option of wiggle seats in my classroom. Varied seating supports individual learning styles, especially for those who are anxious and need to move. It creates comfortable spaces that help students learn more while allowing them to move without distracting others.
Furthermore, this project will allow me to put interesting, new novels in my students' hands so they can get excited about reading.
The novels I have chosen are great topics for discussion and help draw reluctant, anxious students into small-group conversations. Partner reading and small groups are very beneficial for students who are reluctant to share in larger groups. This Donors Choose project will allow me to purchase books to meet all my students' needs and interests. I can't wait to see my students relaxing and reading.
