My Project

The students I have this year are a hardworking group. They have had a rough start to their academic careers due to the pandemic. Before last year, their last normal school year was Pre-K! I would like to be able to provide them with fun ways of getting an education. We are a self-contained classroom with many different abilities and interests.

This is my twentieth year of teaching, and I know many of my materials are worn out and need to be replaced.

I am asking for some science magazines to help out our curriculum. Our current material is outdated. I am also striving to revitalize my reading resources by providing games that deal with text features and figurative language as well as new books. I am currently doing the LETRS Science of Reading training, so I also asked for some letter tiles for students to be able to create words and tap out sounds. Finally, I asked for some math materials and white boards that will improve my math centers. These materials will provide hands on opportunities for the students to learn. These students truly deserve the very best!
