Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My dual language students are a bundle of joy. They are eager and curious scholars that have a love for learning. They enjoy showing others all they do and what they learn each day. Most of my students are English Language Learners​ which makes my classroom community interesting and rich. They are constantly learning from each other, and they each bring their special sparkle into the classroom.

My scholars enjoy coming to school every day and they make the most of it.

They enjoy reading and writing and they love hands-on explorations!

My Project

During these unprecedented times, your help is truly needed and will be greatly appreciated not only by myself but also by my adventurous students. These materials will be used to foster and grow their love for literacy through phonic, reading, and writing. Students will be using these materials while in school but also home as this year, we will explore blended learning. Students would benefit from having adequate and appropriate materials to learn in the classroom but also extend their learning while at home. This year each student must have individual materials for students to use. These materials would allow for this to happen as each child would be able to have equal amounts that will help during phonics lessons and also during center time. Having these materials also makes the transition to this new way of learning more personal and comfortable for students, as they would each have their materials at their reach properly labeled. We are eager to begin this new journey together and we would love for you to be part of this new adventure.
