Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Once these centers are designed properly, they will provide appropriate materials to help students work independently or collaboratively (with partners or in small groups) to meet literacy goals. Once this is accomplished, it will allow me as the teacher to have the ability to weave these skills together at a level that each child can manage through lessons at each center.

Hands-on materials that the students can touch and manipulate help them to better remember and understand the lesson being taught.

Hands-on learning encourages multi-tasking through listening, speaking, touching, and using the senses to explore the environment. Hands-on learning engages children in problem-solving strategies. It allows young children to interact with the learning materials and make mistakes as they learn in a practical manner.
