Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our art room that we share with almost 600 students we go through materials quite rapidly. As you know, art funding can be hard to come by especially since most materials that we use are consumable and from time to time we need to refresh some of the staple items in our room such as glue and pencils.

All of the students fell in love with Kalor color pencils when we were able to get them in another DonorsChoose project.

Students reach for these soft color pencils time and time again because they're so enjoyable to layer colors with and make it easier to create amazing textures. After using them for a couple of years, we need to refresh our color pencil station as we're down to the nubs on most of these pencils. My students would love to have refreshed items to use to finish out our school year.
