My Project

My first graders are an incredible group of resilient, kind-hearted kids who come to school eager to learn, despite the challenges left by two recent hurricanes. Many of them lack essentials like snacks and easy access to fresh water, which impacts their focus and energy in class. By providing a water dispenser and healthy snacks, this project will meet their basic needs and help them stay hydrated, nourished, and ready to learn. These simple additions will make a huge difference in their day-to-day experience, allowing them to concentrate fully on learning and enjoy school in a supportive, caring environment.
