My Project

Our STEM classroom involves community based projects focused on real problems within the local community. Students engage in the engineering design process as they go through designing, prototyping, testing, and revising their individual and group projects. Our goal is to work with real community partners that collaborate with team members to complete the projects.

This project will provide students with materials that will allow for multiple modes of reflection in the classroom.

The oversize easel boards will be utilized in classwide gallery walks, anchor charts, exit ticket reflections, and lesson takeaways. The smaller post it notes will support student growth as they reflect in interactive notebooks, the prototyping process, revision process, etc. The markers allow for color to be added the classroom and allow for more accurate designs and revisions.

This project will, without a doubt, promote immense student growth as they spend time reflection authentically on the development and shifts in project progress.
