Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach 25 energetic and ready-to-learn kindergarten students.

For most of my students, this is their first school experience, and I want for it to be a memorable one!

Kindergarten is one of the first foundations for the rest of their educational careers, and your kind donation will help me maximize their experiences in my class.

Our school is located in Los Angeles, California. We are a 100% Title I school which means all of our students qualify for free meals.

My Project

Cut and paste activities are not only good for working fine motor skills, but are also a fun way for children to learn. We go through glue sticks faster than our school can supply us with; they also go fast because students are just learning to use glue sticks. It's always nice to have extra Elmer's glue sticks in the classroom ready when we need them.

We use our color printer to make our Teacher-Student-Parent newsletters colorful and vivid so that parents take more notice.So many papers get sent home that parents sometimes miss out on the important ones; maybe because they're all in black ink.

We also use our classroom printer to print Writers Workshop pages, classwork, flashcards, and homework, we're always in need of Epson printer ink.

Astrobrights color paper is for my students to use during writing time when publishing their work. Color paper looks more inviting and I want my students to feel proud to show off their work.
