My Project

Fishing is more than a hobby—it’s an opportunity to teach students patience, responsibility, and teamwork while enjoying the great outdoors. With fishing poles, our FFA club can hold after-school fishing days, allowing students to connect with nature and each other. These activities will provide a fun and engaging way to encourage life skills while promoting environmental stewardship.

My goal for this project is to give students a club sport activity that supports camaraderie, leadership, and personal growth.

Through fishing, they’ll develop skills such as problem-solving, respect for the environment, and persistence—qualities that will serve them well throughout life.

What makes my students special is their enthusiasm for trying new experiences and their commitment to learning beyond the classroom. These fishing days will be a unique way to foster community and connection among our FFA members, creating memories and lessons that will last a lifetime.
