My Students

We come from a diverse population. We learn through a strong, classical education fused with STEM with an advanced curriculum that prepares students for life and leadership.

Our vision is to learn, lead, and change the world.

We will learn to appreciate our nation through the study of American heritage as we learn what it means to be a civic-minded citizen.

The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People are integrated into all that we do so we can learn leadership skills such as self-mastery, collaboration, and goal attainment.

My Project

Six hours a day teaching students online is a wonderful experience, but also very difficult on the eyes. During online Zoom lessons, multiple windows are open including the Zoom meeting with the student videos, chat box, and a list of participants. In addition to that, I must share a screen where I am showing students how to solve problems, timing fact practice, and modeling computer schools.

Having a second screen to manage all that is happening in the online classroom would benefit the students with a better-managed online class.

The blue light blocking screen filters will help make being on the computer all day much less stressful on the eyes and reduce the daily headaches I have been experiencing.

Students will benefit from this because their teacher will be more organized and able to help them through the whole day during our online classes. When students return to "in-person" school they will benefit from having an extra monitor that can be attached even to the Chromebooks which will be helpful for students with eye problems. They also will have their eyes protected from the brightness of the screen.
