My Project

My grade-level partner and I are working together this year to create a more hands-on approach to saving the environment and having fun at the same time. We are teachers of some amazing second graders who come from all parts of the world and speak multiple languages.

We recognize that we need to do our part with recycling and want to get as many students involved as possible.

These materials will not only help us create this club, but allow other classes to use clean, recycled materials in class projects down the line. The vests and trash grabbers will be used by our second graders and hopefully some middle schoolers who will buddy up to create the club. The sharpies will be used to personalize the vests as well as BPA water bottles that we will disperse amongst the students to reduce the use of plastics on campus.
