Recreating the Boston Tea Party through a Play

My Project

I teach fourth grade immigrant students from various countries. My students speak lots of different languages and our school is very diverse and multicultural. My enthusiastic, loquacious students are reading plays about the American Revolution.

My students have a natural thirst for learning about this important period in American history.

They are learning about the Loyalists and Patriots! During our learning, we gathered knowledge and opinions on who was justified, the Loyalists or the Patriots. After we have read and learned about both sides of the conflict, we will have a debate. By donating you are helping students have a meaningful and educational debate!

My students will feel like they are in the time of the "American Revolution" by recreating their plays with props. We need iced tea, goldfish, and cookies to celebrate the students' accomplishments with a Boston Tea Party with Arizona teas for each child. I appreciate your contribution to helping my students learn and grow about our country's past and how our United States was formed! My students are also going to write a play and act out their parts during the period of the American Revolution.

We would love to celebrate this epic moment with iced tea and cookies. This project will make history come to life and will capture a meaningful and memorable interdisciplinary project in a fun and motivating way.
