My Project

The cursive books are meant to instill the love of writing and to help the students look at writing as an art form. I started teaching cursive writing to my 3rd-grade class last year and they fell in love with it. The students would ask about or remind me about practicing writing, if our schedule got too busy, to include it that day.

I also learned through some research that by teaching cursive, the students could possibly improve their memory, and improve their fine motor skills.

I found this out for myself when I notice that the handwriting of some of my students improved because we were practicing cursive.
