This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The voice recorders we are requesting will significantly enhance our students' language learning experience by empowering each individual to actively engage in speaking and listening activities at their own pace. With regular use, students will be able to refine their pronunciation and fluency, self-assess their oral proficiency, and gain immediate, personalized feedback. This consistent and interactive practice will directly build their confidence, encourage meaningful participation, and foster greater enthusiasm for learning Spanish.

Our primary goals for this project include improving students' overall oral proficiency, boosting their confidence in speaking and listening, and creating a structured system for individualized assessment.

The use of voice recorders will allow students to submit oral assignments efficiently, enabling teachers to provide timely, personalized feedback and interventions. Moreover, this approach encourages students to develop the critical skill of self-reflection, fostering independence and lifelong learning habits.

What makes our students truly special is their enthusiasm, creativity, and resilience. They represent diverse backgrounds and bring varied experiences into the classroom, making our learning environment dynamic and engaging. Despite encountering challenges in language acquisition, they consistently demonstrate determination and an eagerness to grow academically and personally. This project will ensure each student's voice is heard, valued, and supported as they become more confident and proficient communicators in Spanish.
