This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

For the 2024-2025 school year, my 4th and 5th grade students will be using recorders in music. The purpose of using recorders is to contribute to making music which our goal is to build common through music. The recorders will not support new concepts that our being taught but enhance the students’ musicality. Through recorders, my students will not only become better musicians but all around students as they can apply what they learn in music to the outside world. Overall my students will benefit from using recorders not only in music but in their other classes.
