My Project

The 2023-2024 school year will be remembered forever. One month into the school year, I was pulled from 4th grade and moved into a 5th grade classroom. The 4thgraders were moved into new rooms and the 5th graders were separated from their original classroom and moved into mine. The change has been an emotional roller coaster for me and the kiddos. The students have shown perseverance, adaptability and patience as we navigated this unique year together so far. I couldn't be more proud to be their teacher.

Even through staff shortages and having to switch classes, my students have kept positive attitudes and have earned the right to celebrate!

The materials for this project would help me in giving my students the celebration they deserve to recognize all of the amazing hard work they have put into making this the best school year that we can. It is my vision to make appreciation cards for the kids with each item representing a quality that I admire about them. Each student would receive a special bag filled with treats to help them continue staying positive and focused!
