My Students

Because my students work extremely hard in the classroom, they look forward to their break, otherwise known as recess! With childhood obesity on the rise it is essential that my students learn the importance of exercise. Recess isn't just a break, rather an opportunity to teach health and wellness!

My students will benefit from the life lessons that organized sports provide; sharing, team work, sportsmanship, and following the rules.

With over 100 students sharing the playground at a time and limited equipment, we are in great need of your donation! Many of my students do not have the opportunity to participate in sports outside of school and cherish their time to play their favorite game at recess.

My Project

When I ask the students why they are just standing around on the playground they tell me, "The lines are too long and there are no more balls to play with". Your donation will provide my students with the chance to play more games and expose them to sports equipment we do not currently have. I can picture my students participating in that soccer game,or joining a fun filled dodge ball match, or perhaps learning the art of flying discs, or swooshing hoops on the basketball court!

I can hear my students now, the screams of excitement as I revealed your gift to them! This equipment would provide over 600 students the opportunity to learn new sports, to work together, to exercise, and to have fun while doing it!
