Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Regular physical activity has been linked to improved academic performance, improved cardiovascular health, weight control, reduced stress and anxiety, and reduced health risks among children. It is recommended that elementary school-aged students participate in at least 60 minutes of physical activity every day.

Our school currently does not have enough Physical Education equipment to support all of our students, which often leaves students with old or damaged equipment for recess.

With your support, this donation will provide the opportunity for more students to utilize new, safe equipment, both in PE class and during recess.
