My Project

This year is my second year teaching. When moving into this classroom last year, I was lucky that the previous teacher left her recess equipment in the room. Over the last 2 years, we have had balls fly over the fence, into the road, pop, deflate, or toys break in general.

Right now, my students have only a football and a bat to play with during recess.

My school is a title 1 school. Many of my students, along with myself, cannot afford to purchase new recess materials each time one breaks or goes missing.

I wanted to start this project to help us have more fun at recess together! When students don’t have enough to do, it causes complications. I know my students would be so excited to have some new recess equipment to use each day!
