My Project

As a third-grade teacher, I am always looking for ways to keep my students engaged, active, and excited to learn—not just in the classroom, but also during recess and outdoor play. Unfortunately, our current playground equipment is limited, and many of my students don't have access to fun, physical play items that would help them improve their motor skills, socialize with friends, and develop a love for outdoor activity. That's where you come in!

I am requesting funding for some much-needed playground equipment for my classroom, including frisbees, balls, and sidewalk chalk.

These simple yet powerful tools will provide endless opportunities for physical activity, creativity, and teamwork.

These tools will not only enhance my students’ physical well-being, but will also allow them to develop important social skills. Whether it’s learning to share, communicating in a group, or supporting each other through cooperative play, outdoor time is an essential part of their growth.

As a teacher, I know that play is critical to their development. Play is where they learn how to problem solve, manage emotions, and work as a team. By providing them with these simple yet essential pieces of equipment, I’m giving them the tools to grow stronger, more confident, and more connected.
