My Students

I teach at Title 1 elementary school on the Big Island of Hawaii. Many of my students come from low income families.

My students are a happy and loving bunch who are learning how to be flexible during this time.

My Project

With your help we can provide materials for my students to have for indoor/outdoor resources. Currently we are in the midst of a pandemic and we are on an island. Social distancing is a must as well as ensuring we are giving our students opportunities to move their bodies.

If we are funded we would be able to supply materials to enjoy recess at a safe distance.

Items such as play dough, legos and Highlights magazine will be able to be utilized for indoor recess. Other items such as the jump ropes and ball toss will allow for the students to safely play outside at a distance from others.
