My Students

Hello everyone!! I am an elementary school teacher in a low-income school district. My students depend on the school for two-thirds of their meals. My students are bright and strive to be their best. It is hard to take them to the next level of education without the basic necessities that schools should provide. My students do not have the means to get materials for themselves.

In addition to being 100% remote last school year, my classroom learning aids and materials were destroyed.

Over 15 years of items were sprayed because of the virus. This is where we need your help. Please help us help these students advance to the next level of their educational career and make their classroom feel like home again.

Over 15 years of items were sprayed because of the virus. This is where we need your help. Please help us help these students advance to the next level of their educational career and make their classroom feel like home again.

The materials I have requested are pivotal to our students' academics and their learning environment.

These materials will stay in the classroom. All our materials were destroyed due to the uncertainty of the virus. Everything in the classroom was sprayed and then thrown out. We are starting from scratch. Whiteboards and markers are used daily for group and whole-class activities. The markers and crayons give color to our projects. Students love to bring their work to life! Students struggle to provide their own supplies, so I want to be able to provide it for them.

Please help us rebuild.

I want my students to be prepared and driven. I want them to focus on their education, not on materials they don't have. Thank you.
