Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are engaged and excited to learn about real world issues. They come to school with thought-provoking questions. They enjoy getting book recommendations. My students like to read for pleasure. These books will provide knowledge about real world issues. They will like discussing these books with their classmates. My students will become real world detectives. Some of the texts will be read independently and some will be read aloud. There will be opportunities for my students to present newly learned information. They will be extremely excited to read the "A Kids Book About..." books and more!
