This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

"Success is where preparation and where opportunity meet." ~Bobby Unser My students come to school everyday eager to learn. As their teacher, I feel it's my responsibility to create a safe, nurturing, and fun class so they are engaged in every lesson.

My students often come from immigrant families and many are economically challenged, but they value education and the learning experiences I provide.

As a math coach and teacher, I can’t wait to help all my students become great mathematical thinkers and show them how math is an important part of their lives.

My Project

Often times, my students wonder why they need to learn math and they always ask me when will I use this . Please help me give my students Scholastic Math magazines. These magazines will give my students a better understanding on why math is important and how it is used in the real world. Scholastic Math magazines engages each reader with exciting real-world problems while reviewing math concepts. It can help make math relevant and fun for my students by showing them math applied in different situations around the world.
