Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are 100% engaged on a daily basis and always excited to learn new things. A majority of their learning is self-directed where they learn to take ownership of projects and develop problem-solving skills. By the years end, not only will my students have developed standards-based content knowledge, but they will also have strong technological skills.
We are a talented school with a mix of students across the socioeconomic range.
Every student wants to be successful and they strive to achieve their best work every day. They are 21st-century learners and are more technologically advanced than previous generations. As a teacher, I want to be able to give them everything they need to support and help them compete as the best and brightest. A VR Headset will give my students an immersive experience with virtual reality. This technology aims to completely immerse the user inside the computer generated world, giving the impression to the user that they have "stepped inside" the synthetic world. This new technology connects learning in more meaningful ways than ever before!
