This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My Gifted and Talented students are a curious bunch! They enjoy learning, asking questions and making connections. While our textbooks provide a plethora of knowledge, my students are always asking for more. These magazines can provide what a textbook can not. These magazine subscriptions would help them make connections from what they learn to real-world connections. They would make an excellent conversation piece as well as help to deepen their understanding of content knowledge. Additionally, they can also keep up with current events, which is always a source of conversation in our enrichment classroom.
