My Students

My students love to read and share stories about their books. I hope to provide them with as many opportunities as possible to enhance their love of reading!

I have such a wonderful group of students.

They each have their own personalities that truly add to our classroom community. I can always count on hearing a bunch of great stories about the past and upcoming events happening in their lives. Each day is a new adventure and they are always making me so proud!

My Project

The materials I am requesting will be used in several ways in my classroom. Throughout each day, the students have numerous opportunities to read books from our classroom library. They enjoy reading books independently and with others. The additional books will help my students discover new interests in various content areas. Additionally, my students will be able to take the books home with them! I currently have students who take home extra books from our classroom library just because they enjoy reading. I think my students would benefit from more of a selection to choose from.

Donations to this project will help my students have access to more fiction and nonfiction books in their classroom.

This will provide opportunities for my students to fall in love with various genres of books that they can then share with their peers and families.
