it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Remember what it was to be in Fourth Grade? A typical day in my classroom is busy, busy, busy, at school or at home. My students are active and enjoy exploring. Their young minds need tools and meaningful experiences. We are a Title I school with a very high percentage of low-income families. While poverty and language can be barriers for my students, I like to create a learning environment that makes their learning fun.
As their teacher, I want the best for my students in and out of the classroom.
I must create an environment where my students have endless opportunities.
My Project
As a new teacher to fourth grade, these materials will help my students' learning in literacy and writing. I want to give my fourth grade students the best resources I can get them. The materials will be able to be used at school and home. Students will use the books from the library during our reading workshop. Students will use the Scholastic Magazine with the whole class and as an independent activity. My students will need as many resources as they can get to get back on track as schools reopen.
