My Students

I have enthusiastic, energetic first graders who want to learn. They are a music lovin', hip shakin', fun lovin' group.

We are in a neighborhood where education is a priority, but finances tend to be tight.

Parents work very hard to help our school and students in what ever way they can, like through volunteering.

My Project

During crisis distance learning, I want to help my dear first grade students stay organized and make it feel as much like being in the classroom as possible. I will fill each storage box with all their workbooks, journals, reading books, math manipulatives, and art supplies (everything that would normally be in their school desks).

It will give them access to all their materials to lessen the challenges of distance learning and help them to master the first grade standards.

It will help to make learning more equitable for all.
