Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Traditional resources in the 21st century are just not enough to spark students' interest in learning. "Great teachers show their students how to move mountains for themselves." I want to open the minds of my students and empower them to reach their ultimate goals in the fields of math and science.

Most of my students are Hispanic.

They love to create and explore concepts when conducting experiments, both in Science and Mathematics. The majority of my students come from a low socioeconomic status, therefore many of my students don't have access to materials needed to do research and exploration at home.

My Project

I want to provide a positive classroom climate and nurturing atmosphere in which children can flourish in the real world. Students in my 3rd grade class would benefit by having the necessary materials to learn. A classroom that is organized will run smoothly and ensure that each class period the students have limited instruction time lost. The students will be utilizing crayons during Math and Science lessons as well as projects. Students will keep school supplies more organized in their chair sacks and they will also be using their headphones when complete assignments and exam on the laptops. These items will help us have the essential classroom materials, which will make learning more exciting and enjoyable.
