This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Teaching for almost three years has taught me the importance of staying organized. That's why this project mainly aims to help organize spaces in my classroom that have gotten away from me as the year progressed. It also aims to replenish regularly used materials like highlighters, pencils, and bandages.

I have so many students that it becomes easy for there to be piles of papers randomly stacked up on my desk; which later causes anxiety and an overwhelmingly cluttered space.

To deter this, I've asked for file inserts to take advantage of the vertical space provided by the cabinets already in the room; and wide file folders to create a space for copies that were not used this year but can be saved for the next. This way I can visually see what copies I have in abundance and don't accidentally reprint.

Having these designated spaces helps relieve stress-inducing clutter and allows me to focus on the hundreds of other tasks that directly benefit my students.
