My Project

We are building a classroom library to start the students on a road of reading and a love of reading.

Some of my students are reluctant readers and these books will be able to hook them.

The books are high interest and will build up their reading stamina and vocabulary. We started a program called "Dear". The whole school will Drop Everything And Read. They will be excited when they hear that announcement instead of moaning and groaning.

Having these books to choose from will allow me to meet their needs, but also begin to build that love of reading.
